Pan-India superstar Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam is up for theatrical release in a few hours from now and the anticipation surrounding the film has never been higher. It is expected to get off to a record breaking start in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In the meanwhile, Radhe Shyam is facing a few last minute hurdles. First things first, the film is not releasing in the desired number of theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As of now, the theatres count is less than 1000 which is unusual for a film having a superstar of Prabhas’s stature in the lead role.
Then comes the bookings. Many major centres in Andhra Pradesh are yet to open the bookings for Radhe Shyam. While fans are eagerly waiting to book the tickets, the advance sales haven’t opened yet.
It is said that the distributors are anticipating a special price hike allowance from the government of Andhra Pradesh. That is the reason why they are holding back on the advance bookings as they want to implement hiked ticket price system for the film. This is said to be the reason why the advance bookings for Radhe Shyam are yet to be opened in Andhra Pradesh.
Whatever might be the reason, a pan-India biggie like Radhe Shyam should not be facing such problems in the twin Telugu states. The makers are apparently working round the clock to get things done at a rapid pace. The advance bookings are likely to open in a few hours from now. This might ultimately mean that there will be heavy rush for the tickets in the last minute.
Radhe Shyam is a big budget love drama featuring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film is produced by UV Creations on a lavish scale. The USA premieres will commence in a few hours from now.
